What Anpeiyu wishes what he gets!

Ok ok, its been absolutely pretty long since i last blogged. For your info, i was not abducted by aliens, did not emigrate to another country nor mugged and dumped somewhere in a dark alley.

Ha! I had told my gf once before that only people who had alot of spare time, with nothing to do then they will blog everyday. I still maintain that school of thought and have been really busy most of my time to really sit down and blog. But since my personal photographer had taken some 'modelistic' photos of myself (not my words though), i figured to least update a brief story.

My last post was back in august and now its mid november. 3 months void to fill in here but let me just touch on memories which are more significant or least those i can still recall then.

Only just went to see Mickey's magic show on sat at the Indoor Stadium and its been many years since i last went there for shows, performance. As expected there were many young children with their families who were all very ardent fans of Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy etc.

Sidetrack a little we went to Kallang leisure park/ shopping centre for a quick dinner and i can see its all sprightly new and still empty. Its scheduled for an official release in March 2008 and i suppose lots of money have been invested to rebuild the area.

Back to the show, only a quarter of the whole stadium was used for the show and somehow it felt like i was really old there. By the way it wasn't me which wanted to go to see Mickey initially. Hehe~ At 1 point of time, i always dozed off no thanks to the subway dinner and blabbering by the non-disney hosts. Got nudged and stared by her and after that felt not so sleepy. It ended at 8.05 pm or so and after that we went to cineleisure for some dinner. Had the sushi at 4th floor and chatted over the show and other miscellaneous things.

For the month of october, i guess the only significant thing was of course my birthday! After 10 months of suffering, its finally my turn to celebrate the occasion and i think it was the best. Course i got a PSP slim lavender purple for my present and lets say its something that i wouldn't have bought for myself on my own. I liked it alot and appreciated my gf's effort and its a cool gadget. No wonder i have always said the Japs are always creative when it comes to making geeky gadgets. How many million units have they sold for this product!? Im also unsure but the PSP slim can be used as a portable playstation, mp3 player, wireless internet surfing machine, to watch movies and videos as well as link up to a TV set to view what your playing. Its a cool investment and i guess im lucky to own it too. :D

Caught 2 movies recently- Beuwulf and Stardust. Both were nice but i sort of preferred Beuwulf more. Real actors filming but animation effects were added to create a video game feel. Angelina as the seductive mother demon, who promised eternal power and riches to the mortal man as long as he bore her a 'child'. Sounds easy doesnt it? But the catch was he will not have any babies in return and this gentleman's agreement will only hold as long as she had not come for revenge. Nice storyline there~

Upcoming month of December and lots of wedding dinners to attend. Probably 3 have been scheduled and there's 2 DNDs to go. As well as the 10km Stanchart run with my mates from school. Havent been training and i guess i have to hurry up!! Never to late to start...
